Setup Instructions

1. Connect to Power Nozzle: Align the end of the CT175 wand with the intake port of your compatible Broan-NuTone CT700 power nozzle. Push firmly until the button-lock engages, securing the connection. Ensure the electrical contacts on the wand align with those on the power nozzle for proper power transfer.
2. Connect to Central Vacuum Hose: Insert the opposite end of the CT175 wand into the handle of your 15-inch series central vacuum hose. Push firmly until the button-lock engages.
3. Verify Connections: Gently tug on both connections to ensure they are firmly seated and locked.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Wand Length: To extend the wand, grasp the upper section and pull it away from the lower section. The internal ratcheting mechanism will click at one-inch intervals. Stop at the desired length.
2. Retracting Wand Length: To retract the wand, press the release button (if present, or apply slight pressure and push the sections together) and push the upper section back into the lower section until it reaches the desired shorter length or fully retracts for storage. The positive ratchet mechanism will hold the selected length.
3. Activating Power Nozzle: Once the wand is connected to a powered hose and power nozzle, use the controls on your central vacuum hose handle to activate the suction and the rotating brush of the power nozzle.
