Setup Instructions
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove the television receiver from its packaging.
- Verify that all components are present: television unit, power cord, remote control (if applicable), and this operating manual.
- Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Placement
- Place the television receiver on a stable, level surface.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas with high humidity.
3. Connections
Before connecting, ensure the television receiver and all connected devices are powered off.
- Power Connection: Insert the power cord firmly into the AC IN jack on the back of the television receiver, then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
- Antenna/Cable Connection: Connect your antenna or cable TV coaxial cable to the "ANT/CABLE IN" jack on the back of the unit.
- External Device Connections (Optional):
- For video players or game consoles, connect an RCA (yellow, white, red) or S-Video cable to the corresponding input jacks.
- For audio systems, connect audio output cables from the television receiver to your amplifier or receiver.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the television receiver on or off.
- A standby indicator light may illuminate when the unit is off but connected to power.
2. Channel Selection
- Use the CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons on the remote control or front panel to change channels sequentially.
- To directly enter a channel number, use the numeric keypad on the remote control.
3. Volume Control
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the remote control or front panel.
- Press the MUTE button to temporarily silence the audio. Press again to restore.
4. Input Selection
If you have connected external devices, you will need to select the correct input source.
- Press the INPUT or SOURCE button on the remote control.
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate through available inputs (e.g., TV, Video 1, S-Video) and press ENTER or OK to select.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Unit
- Always unplug the television receiver from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
- For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray liquids directly onto the unit.
