4. Setup and Installation
Before starting, ensure you have the necessary tools: drill, stud finder (if applicable), screwdriver, measuring tape, and a pencil. It is recommended to have two people for installation, especially for larger TVs.
4.1. VESA Compatibility Check
This mount supports VESA patterns from 300x200mm to 600x400mm. Measure the horizontal and vertical distances between the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Ensure these measurements fall within the supported range.

The horizontal distance between holes should be between 50mm and 700mm. The vertical distance between holes should be between 75mm and 400mm. The TV's weight must not exceed 100 kg.
4.2. Attaching Brackets to TV
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify the correct screws (M4, M6, or M8) and spacers (if needed) that fit your TV's mounting holes.
- Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected screws. Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly, with the hooks facing downwards and towards the wall plate.
4.3. Mounting the Wall Plate
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the wall plate as a template.
- Use a stud finder to locate wall studs if mounting on wood stud walls. For concrete or brick walls, use the provided wall plugs.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Attach the wall plate securely to the wall using the appropriate wall screws. Use the small spirit level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.

4.4. Hanging the TV
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
- Hook the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate.
- Gently lower the TV until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate.
- Secure the TV to the wall plate using the safety screws located at the bottom of the TV brackets. This prevents accidental dislodgement.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Adjusting Tilt Angle
The RICOO R17 allows for continuous tilting of your TV by +/-15 degrees. To adjust the tilt:
- Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs on the side of the TV brackets.
- Carefully tilt the TV to your desired viewing angle.
- Tighten the tilt adjustment knobs to secure the TV in place.
