Setup and Initial Charging

Before using your Oster Cordless Electric Wine Bottle Opener for the first time, it is essential to properly set it up and charge it.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to open a wine bottle with your electric opener:

1. Remove Foil: Use the included foil cutter to remove the foil seal from the wine bottle.
2. Position Opener: Place the electric wine opener vertically on top of the wine bottle, ensuring it is centered over the cork. Hold the bottle firmly with one hand and the opener with the other.
3. Extract Cork: Press and hold the lower part of the switch (down arrow). The corkscrew will rotate clockwise and penetrate the cork, then automatically pull it out of the bottle. The opener will stop once the cork is fully extracted.
4. Release Cork: Once the cork is removed from the bottle, lift the opener away. To release the cork from the opener, press and hold the upper part of the switch (up arrow). The corkscrew will rotate counter-clockwise, releasing the cork.

• Cleaning: To clean the exterior of the wine opener and charging base, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit or charging base in water or any other liquid. The corkscrew mechanism can be cleaned with a small brush if necessary, ensuring no cork particles remain.
• Charging: For best performance, keep the wine opener on its charging base when not in use. This ensures it is always ready for use. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently, as this can reduce overall battery life.
