Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Setup

  1. Unpacking:

Carefully remove the slicer from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or shipping.

  2. Placement:

Place the slicer on a clean, dry, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for safe operation and ventilation.

  3. Initial Cleaning:

Before first use, wipe down all parts that will come into contact with food using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.

  4. Blade Installation (if applicable):

Ensure the 7.5" undulated stainless steel cutting blade is securely attached. If it needs to be installed, follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, ensuring the blade is properly seated and locked into place.

  5. Power Connection:

Plug the slicer into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the appliance.

Operating Instructions

Preparing for Slicing

  1. Adjusting Slice Thickness:

Use the slice control knob to adjust the desired thickness from 1/32" to 1/2". Turn the knob clockwise for thicker slices and counter-clockwise for thinner slices.

  2. Loading Food:

Place the food item (e.g., bread, roasts, firm cheeses) onto the food carriage. Use the food pusher to secure the item against the guide plate and the blade. Ensure your fingers are always protected by the food pusher.

Slicing Procedure

  1. Power On:

Turn on the slicer using the power switch. The 130W motor will begin to operate the blade.

  2. Slicing:

Gently push the food carriage back and forth, guiding the food item into the rotating blade. Apply even pressure with the food pusher.

  3. Collecting Slices:

Sliced food will fall onto the receiving tray or surface beneath the blade.

  4. Power Off:

Once slicing is complete, turn off the slicer and unplug it from the power outlet before attempting to remove any remaining food or clean the unit.

Maintenance and Cleaning

WARNING: Always unplug the slicer before cleaning or performing any maintenance. The blade is extremely sharp. Handle with extreme care.

  1. Disassembly for Cleaning:

Carefully remove the food pusher and food carriage. If the blade is removable, follow the instructions in your product manual for safe removal.

  2. Cleaning the Blade:

The blade material is stainless steel. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe the blade. For thorough cleaning, use a brush designed for kitchen appliances to clean around the blade edges. Product Care Instructions: Hand Wash Only.

  3. Cleaning the Body and Components:

Wipe down the premium coated steel and die-cast aluminum housing with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure no water enters the motor housing.

  4. Drying:

Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly or storage to prevent rust and bacterial growth.

  5. Reassembly:

Reassemble all parts, ensuring they are correctly aligned and secured.
