Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your BlueAnt S4. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the S4's charging port and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., car charger, computer USB port). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Mounting the S4

The BlueAnt S4 is designed to clip onto your car's sun visor. Simply slide the integrated clip over the edge of your sun visor. Ensure it is securely attached and does not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle operation.

3. Pairing with Your Phone

To use the S4, you must first pair it with your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.

1. Ensure the S4 is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Multi-function button (phone icon) until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your mobile phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for new devices. The S4 should appear in the list, typically as "BlueAnt S4".
5. Select "BlueAnt S4" to pair. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000" (four zeros).
6. Once paired, the S4 will confirm with an audio prompt, and the LED will flash blue periodically.
7. The S4 will attempt to transfer your phone's address book (up to 2,000 contacts) for caller ID announcement.

Note: You can connect two phones simultaneously. After pairing the first, repeat the pairing process for the second phone. The S4 will manage calls from whichever phone rings.

Operation

Voice Commands

The BlueAnt S4 is primarily voice-controlled. To activate the S4's voice command system, simply say the trigger phrase:

"BlueAnt Speak to Me"

Once activated, the S4 will prompt you for a command. You can say "What Can I Say" at any time to hear a list of available commands.

Making Calls

• Using Phone's Voice Dialing: After activating the S4, say "Phone Commands". The S4 will then activate your phone's voice dialing feature (if supported by your phone). Follow your phone's prompts to dial a contact or number.

Receiving Calls

When an incoming call is detected, the S4 will announce the caller's name (if in your phonebook) or number and ask if you want to take the call.

• To answer the call, say: "Answer"
• To ignore the call, say: "Ignore"

Volume Control

Adjust the call volume using the dedicated volume buttons on the front of the S4:

• Press the '+' button to increase volume.
• Press the '-' button to decrease volume.

A2DP Audio Streaming

The S4 supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), allowing you to stream audio from your phone to the speakerphone. This includes:
