Setup and Installation

To attach a filter to your camera lens, ensure your lens has a 67mm filter thread. The filter thread size is typically marked on the front of your lens or on the lens cap.

1. Carefully align the filter's threads with the threads on the front of your camera lens.
2. Gently rotate the filter clockwise until it is securely fastened. Avoid overtightening, as this can make removal difficult.

1. Attach the CPL filter to your lens.
2. Look through your camera's viewfinder or live view screen.
3. Rotate the outer ring of the CPL filter slowly. As you rotate, you will observe changes in reflections and color saturation.
4. Stop rotating when you achieve the desired effect, such as reduced glare on water or glass, or a deeper blue sky.

The effect of a CPL filter is most pronounced when shooting at a 90-degree angle to the sun. It has little to no effect when shooting directly into or away from the sun.

• Difficulty Removing Filter: If a filter is stuck, try using a rubber grip or a filter wrench designed for this purpose. Avoid using excessive force.
• Uneven Polarization: With very wide-angle lenses, the polarizing effect on the sky can appear uneven. This is a characteristic of polarizing filters and wide-angle lenses, not a defect.
