4. Product Features

5. Setup

  1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
  2. Place Platform: Carefully place the stainless steel weighing platform onto the scale's base. Ensure it is seated correctly and stably.
  3. Position Scale: Place the scale on a firm, level, and stable surface. Avoid placing it near heat sources, strong vibrations, or electromagnetic fields.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

  • Press the ON button to turn the scale on. The display will show '0' or '0.0'.
  • Press the OFF button to turn the scale off.

6.2. Weighing Items

  1. Ensure the scale is on and displays '0' or '0.0'.
  2. Place the item directly onto the stainless steel weighing platform.
  3. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

6.3. Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previous ingredients, so you only measure the new item(s).

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0' or '0.0'.
  3. Add the item(s) you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the added item(s).

6.4. Unit Conversion

The scale can measure in grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), and milliliters (ml) for water and milk.

  • Press the MODE button (often labeled 'g/oz' or 'ml/fl oz') to cycle through the available measurement units.
  • For fluid measurements, select the 'ml' or 'fl oz' mode. The scale is calibrated for water and milk (normal milk).

6.5. Micro Mode (0.1g Graduation)

The scale automatically adjusts its precision based on the weight being measured:

  • 1.0g increments: For weights from 1500 grams to 3000 grams.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: The stainless steel weighing platform is removable and washable. Clean it with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The main body of the scale should be wiped with a damp cloth only. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: If the display shows a low battery indicator, replace the 2 AAA batteries promptly.
