Setup
Battery Installation
The VOLTCRAFT IR 110-1S requires two AAA batteries (not included). To install:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.

Operating Instructions
Basic Temperature Measurement
- Point the infrared sensor towards the target object. Ensure the distance-to-spot ratio (D:S) of 1:1 is considered for accurate readings. For example, at 1 meter distance, the measurement spot diameter is 1 meter.
- Press and hold the SCAN button. The current temperature will be displayed on the LCD.
- Release the SCAN button to hold the reading. The 'HOLD' indicator will appear.
- The device will automatically shut down after 15 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery.
Changing Temperature Units (°C/°F)
With the device powered on, press the MODE button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Min/Max Function
While holding the SCAN button, press the MODE button to cycle through MIN (minimum) and MAX (maximum) temperature readings during the scan. The display will show the minimum or maximum temperature recorded during the active scan.
