Product Overview
The EasyCare PoolTec 3-in-1 Algaecide, Clarifier, and Chlorine Salt Cell Booster is a concentrated formulation designed to maintain clean, clear, and algae-free pool water. This product offers complete algae control, enhances water clarity, and boosts the efficiency of your pool's sanitizer, potentially reducing the need for other chemicals. It is compatible with all salt cell systems and helps improve salt cell performance.

Important Safety Information
CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
First Aid Measures:
- IF SWALLOWED: Call the Poison Control Center or doctor immediately. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless advised by poison control center or physician. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water.
- IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lens, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. Have the product container or label with you when calling for treatment.
Environmental Hazards:
This pesticide is toxic to fish, aquatic organisms and clams. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless in accordance with the requirements of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA.

Setup and Preparation
Before applying PoolTec, ensure your pool water is properly balanced and free from heavy algae growths.
- Clean your pool regularly, removing any debris.
- Adjust pool water pH to between 7.2 and 7.8.
- Adjust pool alkalinity to proper levels.
- Pools with visible algae MUST follow summer cleanup instructions before closing for winter.
Operating Instructions
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Pooltec® is compatible with all salt cell systems and helps improve salt cell performance. It does not change water pH and is non-foaming and non-staining. Swimmers can use the swimming pool immediately after treatment.
Summer Treatment
For summer use, Pooltec helps keep pool water clean, clear, and algae-free. This product must be used with a registered sanitizer.

Note: Pooltec® kills green and yellow algae in 4 to 24 hours and eradicates black algae (fungus) in 7 to 10 days. Pooltec®'s clarifiers strongly flocculate to create ultra-clear pool water.
Weekly Summer Maintenance:
- To start, add Pooltec "Clean" dosage to balanced pool water.
- Thereafter, add "Weekly Maintenance" dosage - use higher dosage for algae prone or heavily used pools.
Algae Cleanup:
- To start, pools containing heavy algae growth should be cleaned of excess debris.
- Superchlorinating pool water and adjusting water pH will help improve cleanup.
- To kill GREEN or YELLOW (mustard) algae, add Pooltec "Visible Algae Dosage." Use higher dosage for heavier algae growths.
- It is important to brush algae clinging to surfaces.
- To kill BLACK algae, add the maximum Pooltec "Visible Algae Dosage." Use a combo or wire brush. Frequently scrub growth for 7 to 10 days until eradicated. Use "Weekly Maintenance" dosage during cleanup period. Broadcasting granular chlorine over affected area can further help penetrate and kill growth.
- Operate pool filter at least 6 to 8 hours daily during cleanup.

Winter Treatment
Pooltec® provides strong, long-lasting protection throughout the non-swim season, keeping pool water clean, clear, and free of algae from fall to spring with little or no chlorine. Its protection is unaffected by evaporation, sunlight, or temperature, making it ideal for covered, mesh, and even uncovered pools.

Winter Directions:
- Pool water must be clean and free from algae growths. Pools with visible algae MUST follow summer cleanup instructions before closing pool.
- Adjust pool water pH to between 7.2 and 7.8. Adjust pool alkalinity to proper levels.
- Close pool with normal chlorine residuals. Shocking pool water may be helpful or necessary.
- Add the correct Pooltec® initial dosage under "Clean" or "Visible Algae" for your pool size.
- Cover pool if desired or follow uncovered pool instructions.
Covered Pools: Add "initial dosage" for your pool size.
Mesh Pools: Double the "initial dosage" for your pool size.
Uncovered Pools: Add "initial dosage" for your pool size. Thereafter, "maintenance dosage" every 60 days until spring.

If you encounter persistent algae issues or water clarity problems despite following the instructions, consider the following:
- Water Chemistry: Re-test your pool's pH and alkalinity levels to ensure they are within the recommended ranges (pH 7.2-7.8). Imbalanced water chemistry can hinder product effectiveness.
- Filtration: Ensure your pool filter is operating efficiently for at least 6 to 8 hours daily, especially during algae cleanup periods. A dirty or undersized filter can prevent proper water circulation and chemical distribution.
- Brushing: Aggressively brush all pool surfaces, particularly areas prone to algae growth. Physical removal of algae is crucial for effective treatment.
- Dosage: For severe algae infestations or heavily used pools, consider using the higher end of the recommended dosage range for "Visible Algae" or "Heavy Used Pools."

Storage:
- Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage.
- Keep container closed when not in use.
- Spills may be slippery. Mop up product with clean water.
- Do not blend directly with other pool chemicals.

- This is a non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.
- Wrap container and put in trash or offer for recycling if available.
