2. Setup and Initial Use

2.1 Unpacking and Contents

Carefully unpack the violin case from its packaging. Inspect the case for any signs of damage. The package should contain the following items:

2.2 Attaching Rucksack Straps

The case comes with two detachable neoprene rucksack straps for comfortable carrying. Locate the D-rings on the back and sides of the case. Attach the clips of the straps to these D-rings. Adjust the strap length for a comfortable fit.

3. Operating the Case

3.1 Opening and Closing the Case

To open the case, locate the zippers running along the perimeter. Unzip both zippers completely. The lid will hinge open, revealing the interior. To close, align the lid with the base and zip both zippers securely. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zippers.

3.2 Placing the Violin

Gently place your 1/8 size violin into the main compartment. The cushioned suspension system is designed to hold the instrument securely. Ensure the violin rests properly within the molded interior without excessive force. Place the included protection blanket over the violin before closing the lid.

3.3 Using Bow Holders

The case features GEWA's patented swivel and flexible bow holders located inside the lid. To secure a bow, gently slide the frog end into the flexible holder and the tip into the swivel holder. Ensure the bow is firmly held to prevent movement during transport.
