3. Setup & Fitting

Proper mask fitting is crucial for comfort and to prevent water leakage. Follow these steps to ensure a secure fit:

1. Initial Placement: Hold the mask gently against your face without using the strap. Ensure the silicone skirt rests evenly around your face, covering your eyes and nose.
2. Vacuum Test: Inhale gently through your nose. The mask should create a slight vacuum and stay in place on your face without you holding it. If it falls off, the mask may not be suitable for your face shape, or there might be hair obstructing the seal.
3. Strap Adjustment: Once a good seal is achieved, place the strap over the back of your head. Adjust the quick-adjust buckles on both sides until the strap is snug, but not overly tight. Overtightening can cause discomfort and may lead to leaks.
4. Hair Clearance: Ensure no hair is caught under the silicone skirt, as this will break the seal and cause leaks.
5. Nose Pocket: Confirm that the nose pocket allows for easy access to pinch your nose for equalization.

4. Operating Instructions

• Equalization: As you descend, pressure builds on your mask. To equalize, gently exhale a small amount of air through your nose into the mask. This prevents mask squeeze and discomfort.

• Drying: Allow the mask to air dry completely in a shaded area before storing. Avoid direct sunlight, which can degrade the silicone over time.
• Storage: Store your mask in a cool, dry place, preferably in a protective mask box or bag, away from direct sunlight, heat, and sharp objects. This prevents scratches to the lens and deformation of the skirt.

• Mask Fogging: If your mask fogs up, ensure you have performed the initial anti-fog treatment. Reapply anti-fog solution as needed. Avoid touching the inside of the lens with your fingers, as oils can contribute to fogging.
