Operating Instructions
- Before Starting:
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Open the water supply tap completely.
- Squeeze the trigger on the safety stop gun to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges.
- Starting the Machine: Switch on the main power switch on the unit. The motor will start.
- Pressure Adjustment: Use the continuous pressure regulation knob to set the desired operating pressure (30-180 bar).
- Applying Cleaning Agent (if applicable): If your model supports cleaning agent suction with a filter, follow the specific instructions for your cleaning agent.
- Cleaning: Direct the water jet at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining a safe distance. Work systematically to ensure even cleaning.
- Total Stop Feature: The machine is equipped with a total stop device with delayed motor shutdown. When the trigger on the gun is released, the motor will stop after a short delay, saving energy and reducing wear. The motor will restart automatically when the trigger is squeezed again.
- Shutting Down:
- Switch off the main power switch.
- Close the water supply tap.
- Squeeze the trigger on the safety stop gun to release any remaining pressure in the system.
- Disconnect the power cable and water hose.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kränzle high-pressure cleaner.
- After Each Use:
- Drain all water from the system, especially in freezing temperatures.
- Clean the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
- Coil the high-pressure hose neatly on the hose reel and store the power cable.
- Filter Cleaning: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Nozzle Inspection: Inspect nozzles for wear or blockage. Replace worn nozzles to maintain optimal spray pattern and pressure.
- Oil Level Check: Periodically check the oil level in the pump. Refer to the manufacturer's specifications for recommended oil type and change intervals.
- Winter Storage: If storing in an area subject to freezing temperatures, ensure the pump and hoses are completely drained or filled with an anti-freeze solution suitable for pumps.
