Setup

1. Connecting the Base Unit

  1. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the small end of the power adapter into the DC IN socket on the back of the base unit. Plug the other end into a wall power outlet.
  2. Connect the Telephone Line Cord: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the LINE socket on the back of the base unit. Plug the other end into your telephone wall socket.

2. Installing Batteries in the Handset

  1. Open the Battery Compartment: Slide the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset downwards and remove it.
  2. Insert Batteries: Insert the supplied rechargeable NiMH batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the Compartment: Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

3. Charging the Handset

Place the handset on the base unit. The battery icon on the handset display will animate to indicate charging. For optimal battery performance, charge the handset for at least 10-12 hours before its first use, even if the display indicates a full charge sooner.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Dialing: Pick up the handset or press the Green Call button. Enter the phone number using the keypad.
  2. Ending a Call: Press the Red End Call button or place the handset back on the base unit.

Receiving a Call

When the phone rings, press the Green Call button to answer. To end the call, press the Red End Call button or return the handset to the base unit.

Adjusting Volume

During a call, use the Up and Down navigation buttons on the handset to adjust the earpiece volume.

Phonebook

Your Doro PhoneEasy 105wr can store up to 20 entries in its phonebook.

  1. Adding an Entry:
    • Press the Menu button.
    • Navigate to "Phonebook" and select "Add New".
    • Enter the name and number, then save.
  2. Calling from Phonebook:
    • Press the Phonebook button (often a book icon).
    • Scroll through the entries using the navigation buttons.
    • Press the Green Call button to dial the selected entry.

Answering Machine (if applicable)

The Doro PhoneEasy 105wr features a digital answering machine with a recording capacity of 20 minutes.

  • Playing Messages: Press the Play/Stop button on the base unit.
  • Deleting Messages: During message playback, press the Delete button on the base unit.
