Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom or side of the camera.
2. Slide the cover open.
3. Insert two fresh AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the camera. Use only alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

2. Memory Card Insertion

1. Locate the memory card slot, typically near the battery compartment.
2. Insert a compatible SD or SDHC memory card into the slot with the metal contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram near the slot).
3. Push the card gently until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out slightly, then pull it out.

Note: A memory card is required to store photos and videos. The camera does not have significant internal storage.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the POWER button located on the top of the camera.
• To power off, press and hold the POWER button again.

2. Taking Photos

1. Turn on the camera. The LCD screen will display the live view.
2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
3. Use the W (Wide) and T (Telephoto) buttons to adjust the 4x digital zoom.
4. Press the Shutter button halfway down to allow the camera to focus.
5. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the image.

3. Recording Videos

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the MODE button to switch to video recording mode (indicated by a video camera icon on the screen).
3. Press the Shutter button to start recording. A red dot or timer will appear on the screen.
4. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.

4. Playback Mode

1. Press the MODE button to switch to playback mode (indicated by a play icon).

3. Press the SET button to view options for the selected image/video, such as delete or rotate.
