5. Setup
5.1 Placement

5.2 Connecting to Power
- Ensure the unit's power switch is in the OFF position.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.
- Headphone Listening: Connect headphones to the PHONES jack. Adjust the headphone volume using the LEVEL knob next to the jack.
6.2 CD Player Operation
- Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD (audio CD, CD-R/RW, or MP3 CD) onto the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The display will show "READING" and then the total number of tracks/time.

- Press the EJECT (⏏) button to open the cassette compartment.

- To stop, press the STOP (■) button.

- Auto Reverse: The deck automatically reverses tape direction at the end of a side. The "AUTO REVERSE" indicator will show the current direction.
- Dolby NR: Press the DOLBY NR button to activate or deactivate Dolby B Noise Reduction. This helps reduce tape hiss.
- Pitch Control: Use the PITCH CONTROL knob to slightly adjust the playback speed of the cassette tape.

- Insert a USB memory device (formatted to FAT16/FAT32) containing MP3 files into the USB port on the front panel.
- Press the SOURCE button until "USB" is selected.
