Safety Information

Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for this chandelier.

  1. Unpack Contents: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present according to the packing list (not provided in this manual, refer to product packaging).
  2. Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Secure the mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling.
  3. Wiring: Connect the fixture's electrical wires to the household wiring according to standard electrical codes. Typically, connect the black wire from the fixture to the black wire from the ceiling, the white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the ceiling, and the ground wire to the ground wire from the ceiling.
  4. Assemble Fixture: Attach the chandelier body to the mounting bracket. The fixture is supplied with 72 inches of chain and 54 inches of extra lead wire, allowing for adjustable hanging height. Adjust the chain length as desired before securing.
  5. Install Glass Shades: Carefully attach the Wispy Umber Crackle glass shades to the fixture arms.
  6. Install Bulbs: Insert five (5) 100-watt maximum, medium base (E26) incandescent bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed the maximum wattage.
  7. Final Check: Ensure all connections are secure and the fixture is properly mounted. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Kichler Sarabella Chandelier operates via a standard wall switch (not included). The fixture is designed to be dimmable when used with a compatible standard incandescent dimmer switch (not included).

  • Turning On/Off: Use the wall switch connected to the fixture to turn the lights on or off.
  • Dimming Function: If a compatible dimmer switch is installed, adjust the dimmer control to achieve the desired light intensity.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your chandelier.

  • Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and allow it to cool. Wipe the Legacy Bronze finish with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishes, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Glass Shades: The Wispy Umber Crackle glass shades can be gently wiped with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, remove the shades and wash them in mild soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
  • Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing bulbs. Allow old bulbs to cool before removal. Replace with five (5) 100-watt maximum, medium base (E26) incandescent bulbs.

Kichler Lighting warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year following the date of shipment from the seller. If any warranted products are found to be defective, Kichler will, at its sole option and cost, replace, repair, or refund the product less an amount directly attributable to consumer's prior use.
