1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The QFX REM-115 requires two (2) AA batteries for operation. To install, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the indicators). Close the cover securely.

2.2 Code Pairing (Programming Your Remote)

The remote can be programmed using either an automatic code search or manual code entry. This process links the remote to your specific devices (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT/CABLE, AUX).

  2. Manual Code Entry: If you know the specific code for your device's brand, you can enter it directly. A list of common brand codes is typically provided in the remote's packaging.

3. Operating Instructions

Once programmed, the QFX REM-115 allows you to control various functions of your devices.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

When the remote's performance diminishes or the indicator light no longer illuminates, it is time to replace the batteries. Always replace both AA batteries simultaneously. Note that some users have reported needing to re-program the remote after battery replacement. Keep a record of your device codes for convenience.

4.2 Cleaning
