2. Initial Time Setting (Radio Correction)

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive radio waves to set the time. This process may take several minutes. Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good signal reception, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

  • The clock supports 40 kHz and 60 kHz radio wave frequencies.
  • A signal indicator on the display will show the reception status.

3. Manual Time and Date Setting (If Radio Correction Fails)

If radio wave reception is unsuccessful or you prefer to set the time manually:

  1. Locate the setting buttons on the front panel (refer to Figure 3). These buttons are typically labeled for time, date, and adjustment.
  2. Press and hold the 'Time Set' or equivalent button until the time display flashes.
  3. Use the 'Up'/'Down' or 'Advance'/'Return' buttons to adjust the hours and minutes.
  4. Press the 'Time Set' button again to confirm and move to the date setting.
  5. Adjust the year, month, and day using the 'Up'/'Down' buttons.
  6. Confirm all settings by pressing the 'Time Set' button one last time.

4. 12/24 Hour Format Selection

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats, press the dedicated '12/24H' button or cycle through the options during manual time setting.

2. Setting and Activating the Alarm

  1. Press the 'Alarm Set' button (or equivalent) on the front panel. The alarm time will flash.

  3. Press 'Alarm Set' again to confirm.

  5. To deactivate the alarm, slide the 'Alarm ON/OFF' switch to the 'OFF' position. The alarm icon will disappear.

3. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the 'Snooze' button (usually a large button on the top or front) to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).

4. Radio Wave Off Function

If you wish to disable the automatic radio wave time correction, locate the 'Radio Wave OFF' button or setting option (consult the specific button labels on your device). Disabling this function will cause the clock to operate based on its internal quartz accuracy, requiring manual time adjustments if drift occurs.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the casing and display.

2. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.

3. Environmental Considerations

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, keep the clock away from:

  • Direct sunlight or extreme heat sources.
  • Areas with high humidity or dust.
  • Strong magnetic fields.
