Setup and Installation

The VCF2 switch kit is designed for 4-hole panel mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and provides adequate clearance for wiring and operation.

Mounting Instructions:

  1. Prepare the panel with four appropriately spaced holes for mounting the switch. Refer to the product's technical drawings for exact dimensions.
  2. Position the switch kit on the panel, aligning the mounting holes.
  3. Secure the switch using suitable fasteners (not included) through the four mounting holes. Ensure the switch is firmly attached to prevent movement during operation.

Wiring Instructions:

The VCF2 is a 25 Amp, 690 Volt, 3-way circuit switch with Normally Open (NO) contacts and Spaten terminals. All wiring must comply with applicable electrical codes.

Operating Instructions

The VCF2 switch operates with a rotary actuator, providing clear ON-OFF functionality.

  1. To turn ON: Rotate the red/yellow handle clockwise from the 'OFF' position to the 'ON' position. The indicator on the yellow faceplate will align with the 'ON' symbol.
  2. To turn OFF: Rotate the red/yellow handle counter-clockwise from the 'ON' position to the 'OFF' position. The indicator on the yellow faceplate will align with the 'OFF' symbol.

The red/yellow operator provides high visibility for quick identification of the switch status.

Maintenance

The Schneider Electric VCF2 switch is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. However, periodic inspection is recommended to ensure continued safe and reliable operation.
