Maintenance

The BELL Weatherproof Box is designed for minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect the box for any signs of damage, corrosion, or compromised seals. Ensure all conduit connections remain tight and that the box cover (if applicable, sold separately) is securely fastened. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth as needed.

Troubleshooting

  • Water Ingress: If water is found inside the box, immediately disconnect power. Inspect all conduit connections, closure plugs, and the box cover for proper sealing. Reapply silicone sealant as necessary.
  • Loose Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections within the box to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Corrosion: While the powder coat finish is designed for resistance, inspect for any signs of corrosion, especially in harsh environments. Address any corrosion promptly to maintain integrity.
