- Wall Mounting: Place the alarm at least 6 inches (15 cm) from the ceiling and at least 6 inches (15 cm) from any adjacent walls.
- Ceiling Mounting: Place the alarm at least 4 inches (10 cm) from any wall.
- Avoid placing the alarm near windows, doors, or vents where drafts could interfere with its operation.
- Do not install in areas with extreme temperatures (below 40°F or above 100°F).

2.4 Mounting the Alarm

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Normal Operation
