2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

Your Dorcy flashlight comes with 3 AA batteries pre-installed. To replace the batteries when needed, follow these steps:

1. Unscrew the head of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Gently shake the flashlight to allow the battery cartridge to slide out.
3. Remove the old AA batteries from the cartridge and insert three new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Slide the battery cartridge back into the flashlight body.
5. Screw the head back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

3. Operating Instructions

To turn the flashlight on or off, simply slide the power switch located on the side of the flashlight body. The switch provides a tactile response for easy operation.
