4. Setup and Installation

The display case is designed for wall mounting. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable outdoor wall surface that can support the weight of the display case and its contents.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Using the provided wall fixing profile as a template, mark the drilling points on the wall. Ensure the display case will be level.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type. Insert the wall plugs.
  4. Attach Wall Fixing Profile: Secure the wall fixing profile to the wall using the provided screws.
  5. Mount Display Case: Carefully lift the display case and align its rear mounting points with the wall fixing profile. Ensure the display case is securely seated on the profile.
  6. Secure Corners: For added stability, secure the corners of the display case to the wall using additional screws if necessary, as indicated in the mounting diagram.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening and Closing the Display Case

  • To Open: Insert one of the provided keys into the lock located on the side of the display case. Turn the key to unlock the door. Gently pull the door open.
  • To Close: Push the door firmly until it clicks into place. Insert the key and turn to lock the door. Ensure the door is fully closed and locked to maintain weather resistance and security.

5.2 Using the Magnetic Surface

The interior back panel of the display case is magnetic. Use magnets (not included) to attach documents, notices, and other materials to the surface. The display case can hold up to 8 A4 sheets.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Glass Surface: Clean the glass door with a soft, damp cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the glass.
  • Frame and Body: Wipe the aluminum frame and other surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.

6.2 Weather Resistance Check

Periodically inspect the rubber seals around the door to ensure they are intact and free from damage. This helps maintain the IP34 weather resistance rating.

6.3 Lock Mechanism

Occasionally apply a small amount of graphite powder or a silicone-based lubricant to the lock mechanism to ensure smooth operation.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Difficulty Locking/Unlocking: Ensure the door is fully closed and aligned. Lubricate the lock mechanism as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Condensation Inside: While designed for outdoor use, extreme temperature fluctuations can sometimes cause minor condensation. Ensure the door seals are intact and the door is fully closed. If persistent, check for any damage to the seals.
  • Documents Not Holding: Ensure you are using strong enough magnets for your documents. The magnetic surface is designed for standard office magnets.
