Key Components:

  • Crown: Used for setting the time and date.
  • Pushers (A & B): Used to operate the chronograph functions (start, stop, reset).
  • Main Dial: Displays the current time (hours, minutes, seconds).
  • Chronograph Subdials: Measure elapsed time in seconds, minutes, and sometimes hours.
  • Tachymeter Scale: Located on the outer rim of the dial, used for measuring speed.

3. Setup

3.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
  2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a date function that changes at midnight.
  3. Push the crown back into the normal position. The second hand will resume movement.

3.2 Setting the Date (if applicable)

  1. Pull the crown out to the first click position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the movement) to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism.
  3. Push the crown back into the normal position.

3.3 Chronograph Hand Zero Position Adjustment

If the chronograph hands do not return to the zero position after resetting, they may need adjustment:

  1. Pull the crown out to the second click position.
  2. Press Pusher A (top pusher) repeatedly to advance the chronograph second hand to the zero position.
  3. Press Pusher B (bottom pusher) repeatedly to advance the chronograph minute hand to the zero position.
  4. Once all chronograph hands are aligned to zero, push the crown back into the normal position.

4. Operating the Chronograph

The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time independently of the main time display.

  1. Start: Press Pusher A to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
  2. Stop: Press Pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time can be read from the chronograph subdials.
  3. Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press Pusher B to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
  4. Split Time (if available): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. Consult specific movement details if this feature is desired.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch:

  • Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For the leather band, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a specialized leather cleaner if necessary, following product instructions.

5.2 Water Resistance

While many watches offer some level of water resistance, specific ratings are not provided for this model in the product information. To prevent damage, it is recommended to avoid exposing the watch to water, steam, or high humidity. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. When the battery is depleted, the watch will stop. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Time Inaccurate: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting the time. Extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields can affect accuracy.
  • Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: Refer to Section 3.3 for chronograph hand zero position adjustment.

For issues not resolved by these steps, please contact customer support or a certified watch repair center.
