Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Leaptop.
- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. (Batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use.)
- Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
Personalization
The Leaptop can be personalized to spell your child's name. Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide or connect the device to a computer via a USB cable (not included) and visit the LeapFrog Learning Path website for detailed personalization steps.

To begin, slide the power switch located on the side of the screen to the 'On' position. Adjust the volume using the dedicated switch.
