3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items are present:
- Canon EOS 550D Camera Body
- EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
- Battery Pack (Lithium Ion)
- Battery Charger (Note: Charger may have an India port as per product description)

3.2 Charging the Battery

3.3 Attaching the Lens
- Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the lens.
- Align the red dot on the lens with the red dot on the camera body (for EF-S lenses).

3.4 Inserting a Memory Card

4.3 Focusing
The camera offers various autofocus (AF) modes. Half-press the shutter button to activate autofocus. You can also switch to manual focus (MF) using the switch on the lens.
