  • Power Button (I/O): Turns the player on or off.

5. Setup

5.1 Connecting to Your TV

For the best picture and sound quality, use an HDMI cable to connect the player to your TV.

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the Blu-ray Disc Player.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI IN port on your TV.
  3. If your TV does not have an HDMI input, use component video cables (Y, Pb, Pr) for video and analog audio cables (L/R) for audio, or a composite video cable and analog audio cables.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the supplied power cord to the POWER INPUT on the rear of the player.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

5.3 Network Connection

A network connection is required to access internet streaming services and firmware updates.

  1. Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN (Ethernet) port on the rear of the player.
  2. Wireless Connection: The BDP-S370 is Wi-Fi adapter ready. If you have a compatible Sony Wi-Fi adapter (sold separately), connect it to a USB port on the player. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the wireless settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Disc Playback

  1. Turn on your TV and select the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1).
  2. Press the Power button on the player or remote control to turn it on.
  3. Press the Open/Close button to open the disc tray.
  4. Place a Blu-ray Disc, DVD, or CD onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  5. Press the Open/Close button again to close the disc tray. The player will automatically begin playback or display a menu.
  6. Use the Play, Pause, and Stop buttons on the remote control to manage playback.

6.2 USB Media Playback

You can play photos, music, and videos stored on a USB device.

  1. Insert a USB device into the USB port on the front panel.
  2. Navigate to the USB media section on the player's home menu using the remote control.
  3. Select the desired file type (photos, music, or videos) and then select the file you wish to play.

6.3 Internet Features

Access a wide variety of online content through BRAVIA Internet Video, including Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Video on Demand, and Pandora.

  • Ensure the player is connected to your home network (see Section 5.3).
  • From the player's home menu, select the desired internet service application.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to log in or register for the service.

6.4 DLNA Wireless Streaming
