Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the engine, wipe it with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the engine in water or using harsh cleaning agents.

Battery Replacement

When the engine's speed decreases significantly or the headlight dims, it is time to replace the AA battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

  • Engine not moving or moving slowly: Check the battery. Ensure it is correctly installed and has sufficient power. Replace with a fresh AA battery if needed.
  • Headlight not working: Verify the battery is new and correctly installed. If the engine moves but the light does not, contact customer support.
  • Engine struggles on inclines or with many cars: Ensure the battery is fresh. The engine's pulling power is reduced on hills and with heavier loads. Consider reducing the number of attached cars on steep inclines.
  • Engine gets stuck on tracks: Check for any obstructions on the track or debris in the engine's wheels. Ensure track pieces are properly connected and level.
