2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and components are clean.

4.1 Attaching Beaters or Kneading Hooks

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Insert the beaters or kneading hooks into the openings on the underside of the motor unit. Push firmly until they click into place. Note that kneading hooks are designed to fit in specific openings.
3. To remove, press the eject button located on the top of the motor unit.

4.2 Attaching the Mixing Wand

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Align the mixing wand with the designated opening on the front of the motor unit.
3. Twist clockwise until it locks securely.
4. To remove, twist counter-clockwise and pull.

4.3 Assembling the Universal Shredder

1. Place the blade onto the central pin inside the shredder bowl.
2. Add ingredients to the bowl. Do not overfill (maximum half full for optimal performance).
3. Place the lid onto the shredder bowl, ensuring it is properly aligned.
4. Attach the motor unit to the top of the shredder lid, twisting until it locks.

5. Operating Instructions

The Bosch Hand Mixer Styline MFQ4080 features 5 speed settings and an additional pulse/turbo function for versatile use.

5.1 Using Beaters and Kneading Hooks

1. Insert the desired attachments (beaters for whipping/mixing, kneading hooks for dough).
2. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
3. Select the desired speed using the speed selector switch. Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.
4. For short bursts of maximum power, press and hold the 'Turbo' button.
5. After use, switch off the appliance, unplug it, and press the eject button to release the attachments.

5.2 Using the Universal Shredder

1. Assemble the shredder as described in Section 4.3.
2. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
3. Select a suitable speed (usually higher speeds are effective for chopping).
4. Process ingredients until desired consistency is achieved. Use short pulses for coarse chopping.
5. After use, switch off, unplug, and carefully disassemble the shredder.

5.3 Using the Mixing Wand (Hand Blender)

1. Attach the mixing wand to the motor unit.
2. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
3. Immerse the mixing wand into the ingredients in the mixing beaker or another suitable container.
4. Select the desired speed.
5. Move the mixing wand up and down gently to ensure even blending.
6. After use, switch off, unplug, and detach the mixing wand.

6.1 Cleaning the Motor Unit

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
