Buttons and Display:
- WEEK: Sets the day of the week.
- HOUR: Sets the hour.
- MIN: Sets the minute.
- SEC: Sets the second (used for countdown).
- CLOCK: Used in combination with HOUR/MIN/WEEK to set the current time and day.
- PROG: Enters or exits programming mode for ON/OFF cycles.
- R (Reset): Resets the timer to factory settings. Use a pointed object to press.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The timer comes with a pre-installed LR44 1.5V battery. This battery maintains your settings during power outages or when the timer is unplugged. If the display is dim or blank, the battery may need replacement (see Maintenance section).
4.2 Initial Time and Day Setting
Before programming, set the current time and day:
- Plug the timer into a wall outlet to activate the display.
- Press and hold the CLOCK button.
- While holding CLOCK, press WEEK repeatedly to set the current day of the week.
- While holding CLOCK, press HOUR repeatedly to set the current hour.
- While holding CLOCK, press MIN repeatedly to set the current minute.
- Release the CLOCK button. The current time and day are now set.
5. Operating Instructions
The timer allows for up to 20 ON/OFF programming cycles per day, week, or group of days. It also features a random function and a countdown function.
5.1 Programming ON/OFF Cycles
- Press the PROG button once to enter programming mode. The display will show '1 ON'.
- Press WEEK to select the day(s) for this program (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, or groups like MO-FR, SA-SU, MO-SA, etc.).
- Press HOUR to set the desired ON hour.
- Press MIN to set the desired ON minute.
- Press PROG again. The display will show '1 OFF'.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF time for the same program.
- Continue pressing PROG to cycle through the 20 available ON/OFF programs (2 ON, 2 OFF, etc.).
- To exit programming mode, press the CLOCK button.
5.2 Manual Override (ON/OFF/AUTO)
The manual override button (hand icon) allows you to switch the timer's output mode:
- Press the manual override button to cycle through:
- ON: The connected appliance will remain ON, overriding any programs.
- OFF: The connected appliance will remain OFF, overriding any programs.
- AUTO: The timer will follow the programmed ON/OFF cycles. Ensure the timer is in AUTO mode for programs to execute. If left on ON or OFF, programs will not run.
5.3 Random Function
The random function can be used to deter intruders by making it appear as if someone is home. When activated, the timer will randomly switch the connected appliance ON and OFF within a set period.
- Press the PROG button until 'RANDOM' appears on the display.
- Use HOUR and MIN to set the desired random operating window.
- Press PROG to confirm.
- To deactivate, press PROG until 'RANDOM' disappears or press CLOCK.
5.4 Countdown Function
The countdown function allows you to set a specific duration after which the connected appliance will switch ON or OFF.
- Press the PROG button until 'COUNTDOWN' appears.
- Use HOUR, MIN, and SEC to set the desired countdown duration.
- Press PROG to start the countdown. The display will show the remaining time.
- Once the countdown finishes, the appliance will switch its state (e.g., if it was ON, it will turn OFF).
- To cancel the countdown, press CLOCK.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean the timer, unplug it from the wall outlet. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Battery Replacement
The internal LR44 1.5V battery ensures that your programmed settings are retained during power outages. If the display becomes dim or the settings are lost frequently, the battery may need replacement. To replace the battery, carefully open the battery compartment (usually on the back or side) and insert a new LR44 1.5V battery, observing polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
