  • Adjustable Wrench
  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Plumber's Putty or Silicone Sealant
  • Flashlight
  • Bucket (for catching drips)

4.2 Pre-Installation Steps

  1. Turn off Water Supply: Locate the main water shut-off valve for your home or the shut-off valves under the sink. Turn them off completely.
  2. Clear the Area: Remove any items from under the sink to provide clear access for installation.
  3. Remove Old Faucet (if applicable): Disconnect the water supply lines from the old faucet. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the old faucet from the sink deck. Clean the sink surface thoroughly.

4.3 Faucet Installation

This faucet requires a 3-hole deck mount installation.

  1. Prepare Faucet Base: Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the faucet body where it will meet the sink deck.
  2. Position Faucet: Insert the faucet body through the center hole of the sink deck. Ensure the handles are correctly oriented.
  3. Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, thread the mounting nuts onto the faucet shanks. Hand-tighten, then use an adjustable wrench to secure firmly, but do not overtighten.
  4. Install Side Spray: Insert the side spray hose through the remaining hole in the sink deck. Secure it from underneath with the provided mounting hardware.
  5. Connect Water Supply Lines: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten connections, ensuring they are snug but not overtightened.
  6. Connect Side Spray Hose: Attach the side spray hose to the designated outlet on the faucet body.

4.4 Post-Installation

  1. Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Inspect all connections for leaks. If leaks are detected, gently tighten the connection until the leak stops.
  2. Flush Faucet: Remove the aerator from the spout. Turn on both hot and cold water to full flow for a few minutes to flush out any debris from the water lines. Turn off the water, reattach the aerator.

5. Operating Instructions

The ROHL U.4756L-EB-2 faucet features two lever handles for precise control of water temperature and flow.

  • Water Flow: Turn the handles counter-clockwise to increase water flow and clockwise to decrease or shut off.
  • Temperature Control: The left handle controls hot water, and the right handle controls cold water. Adjust both handles to achieve the desired water temperature.
  • Swivel Spout: The high-arc spout can swivel 360 degrees, allowing for greater reach and flexibility in your sink.
  • Side Spray: Press the button on the side spray handle to activate the spray function. Release the button to stop the spray.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the English Bronze finish.
  • Wipe the faucet dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.

6.2 Aerator Maintenance

  • If water flow decreases or becomes irregular, the aerator may be clogged.
