1. Introduction
The Clover B14A Hot and Cold Bottled Water Dispenser provides convenient access to refreshing chilled drinking water and piping hot water. Designed for home or office use, this dispenser features hygienic stainless steel tanks and an efficient cooling and heating system. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and optimal performance.
2. Safety Information
- Electrical Safety: This appliance operates on 110-120 volts, 50-60 Hz. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded. Do not use with damaged cords or plugs.
- Hot Water Safety: The hot water temperature reaches approximately 185°F (85°C). Exercise extreme caution when dispensing hot water to prevent burns. A safety switch is provided for the hot water dispenser.
- Child Safety: Always engage the hot water safety switch when children are present to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water.
- Placement: Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas with high humidity. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Water Bottle: Use only standard 5-gallon (18.9-liter) water bottles.
- Maintenance: Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
3. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Placement: Position the dispenser on a level, sturdy surface. Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance from walls for proper ventilation.
- Install Drip Tray: Insert the concealed, lift-out drip tray into its designated slot below the spigots.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Install Water Bottle: Remove the protective seal from a new 5-gallon water bottle. Lift the bottle and quickly invert it, placing it firmly onto the bottle support on top of the dispenser. Ensure the bottle is seated correctly to prevent leaks.
- Flush System: Before plugging in, dispense at least 1 liter (approximately 4 cups) of water from both the hot and cold spigots to ensure the tanks are filled and to flush any air from the system.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded 110-120V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once plugged in, the dispenser will begin cooling and heating the water. Allow approximately 15-30 minutes for the water to reach desired temperatures.
- Dispensing Cold Water: Place your cup under the cold water spigot (typically blue). Push the lever to dispense cold water. Release the lever to stop.
- Dispensing Hot Water: Place your cup under the hot water spigot (typically red). To dispense hot water, first push the safety switch (often a red button or lever) and then push the main lever. Release both to stop.
- Hot Water Switch: The hot water function can be turned on or off using the switch located on the back of the unit. Turning it off will prevent the water from heating, saving energy and acting as an additional safety measure.
- Adjusting Cold Water Temperature: The cold water temperature can be adjusted via a thermostat control, usually located on the back of the unit. It allows for a range of 35.6°F to 53.6°F (2°C to 12°C).

6. Troubleshooting
- No Water Dispensing: Ensure the water bottle is properly seated and not empty. Check if the unit is plugged in and powered on.
