Installation and Setup

1. Mounting the Unit

2. Wiring Connections

- Ground (GND): Connect the GND terminal to a clean, solid chassis ground point in the vehicle. Ensure a good metal-to-metal connection.
- Remote (REMOTE): Connect the REMOTE terminal to the remote turn-on output of your head unit or another switched +12V source. This will turn the BX-10X on and off with your audio system.
- Audio Input (BALANCED INPUTS L/R): Connect the RCA outputs from your head unit or signal source to the BALANCED INPUTS of the BX-10X.

Operation
The BX-10X offers several controls to fine-tune your bass experience.
Top Panel Controls:
- WIDE Control: Adjusts the bandwidth of the bass enhancement. Turning it clockwise increases the range of frequencies affected by the bass processing.
- SWEEP Control: Selects the center frequency for the bass enhancement. This allows you to target specific low frequencies for boosting.
- Frequency Selection Switches (-35Hz, -50Hz, -80Hz): These switches allow you to set the lower cutoff frequency for the bass output, helping to protect subwoofers from ultra-low frequencies they cannot reproduce effectively.
