4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery into the battery compartment.
  2. Connect the camera to a computer or a USB power adapter using the supplied USB cable.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when the battery is fully charged.

4.2. Inserting a Memory Card

The Kodak PlaySport (Zx3) supports SD and SDHC memory cards. A memory card is required to store videos and photos.

  1. Open the memory card slot cover.
  2. Insert the SD/SDHC card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. Close the memory card slot cover securely to maintain waterproof integrity.

4.3. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Recording Video

The camera captures Full 1080p HD video with electronic image stabilization.
