Please read these instructions carefully before installation and operation, and retain them for future reference.
The LD16-25 is a 25-foot, 16-gauge, 13-amp rated power supply cord designed for both outdoor and indoor applications, featuring a water-resistant LockNDry connection system.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage.
- Always ensure the power cord is fully uncoiled before use to prevent overheating.

- Keep connections dry and off the ground, especially in outdoor environments. The LockNDry feature provides water resistance but is not submersible.
- Do not remove the grounding prong. This cord is designed for use with grounded outlets only.

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your LockNDry power supply cord:
- Uncoil the Cord: Completely uncoil the entire length of the 25-foot power cord before connecting it to any power source or device. This prevents heat buildup.
- Connect to Device: Insert the female end of the LockNDry cord into the male plug of the device you wish to power.
- Engage LockNDry Mechanism: Twist the collar on the female connector to securely lock it onto the device's plug. This creates a water-resistant seal and prevents accidental disconnection.
- Connect to Power Source: Insert the male end of the LockNDry cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and provides proper grounding.
5. Operating Instructions
Once properly set up, the LockNDry power supply cord operates like a standard extension cord with enhanced connection security and water resistance.
- Ensure all connections are secure before applying power.
- Do not overload the cord. The total wattage of all connected devices must not exceed 1560 Watts.
- For outdoor use, position the cord and connections to minimize exposure to standing water or heavy rain. While water-resistant, direct submersion is not recommended.
- To disconnect, first unplug the male end from the wall outlet, then twist the LockNDry collar to release the connection from the device, and finally unplug the device.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your power cord.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the cord from all power sources and devices before cleaning. Wipe the cord and connectors with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the entire length of the cord, including the plugs and connectors, for any signs of damage such as cracks, cuts, fraying, or discoloration. Check for bent or corroded prongs.
- Storage: When not in use, coil the cord loosely and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. Avoid tight coiling or kinking, which can damage the internal wires.
- Do not attempt to repair a damaged cord. Replace it immediately.
