3. Place the flexible measuring tip according to the desired measurement method (oral, axillary, or rectal).
4. Hold the thermometer in place until an acoustic signal (series of beeps) indicates the measurement is complete. This typically takes approximately 10 seconds.
5. Read the temperature displayed on the LCD screen.
6. The thermometer will automatically switch off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. You can also manually turn it off by pressing the ON/OFF button.
