2. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using this appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

3. Parts of Your Vaporizer

Familiarize yourself with the components of your Vicks Vaporizer:

  1. Water Tank: The main reservoir for water (white, 1.5-gallon capacity).
  2. Heating Unit / Steam Outlet: The blue top section that heats the water and releases steam. This unit includes the heating electrodes and steam vents.
  3. Power Cord: For connecting the unit to an electrical outlet.
  4. Max Fill Line: Indicated on the water tank to show the maximum water level.
  5. VapoPad Tray: A small compartment on the heating unit for optional VapoPads.
  6. Alignment Tabs/Locking Mechanism: Used to securely attach the heating unit to the water tank.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your vaporizer for first-time use or after cleaning:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the vaporizer on a firm, level, water-resistant surface. Ensure it is at least four feet away from walls, furniture, and any heat-sensitive materials.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Remove the blue heating unit from the white water tank. Fill the water tank with cool tap water up to the "MAX" fill line. Note: Using tap water is recommended as minerals in tap water help with steam production. Distilled water may result in less steam.
  4. Assemble Unit: Place the blue heating unit back onto the water tank. Align the tabs on the heating unit with the corresponding slots on the water tank. Turn the heating unit clockwise until it locks securely into place.
  5. Optional VapoPads: If desired, insert a VapoPad into the designated VapoPad tray on the top of the blue heating unit.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your vaporizer is straightforward:
