  1. Place the heating base unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets.
  2. Insert the clean ceramic inner pot into the heating base unit.
  3. Add your ingredients to the ceramic inner pot. Do not fill more than 3/4 full to prevent boiling over.
  4. Place the glass lid securely on top of the ceramic inner pot.

Operating Instructions

The Continental Electric CP43729 Slow Cooker features a simple control knob with four settings: OFF, LOW, HIGH, and KEEP WARM.

  1. Plug In: Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position, then plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate when a setting is selected.
  2. Select Setting: Turn the control knob to your desired cooking setting:
    • LOW: For slow, gentle cooking over a longer period (typically 6-8 hours).
    • HIGH: For faster cooking (typically 3-4 hours).
    • KEEP WARM: To maintain food at a serving temperature after cooking. Do not use this setting for cooking raw food.
  3. Cooking: Allow the food to cook for the recommended time according to your recipe. Keep the lid on during cooking to retain heat and moisture. Removing the lid frequently will extend cooking times.

Note: The exterior of the slow cooker will become hot during operation. Always use oven mitts or handles when moving or touching the unit.
