Wiring Connections
Refer to the diagrams below for proper wiring of power, ground, remote, and audio signals.

Image: Rear panel of the Lanzar VCT2610 amplifier, detailing the power supply terminals (GND, REM, +12V), dual 60A power fuses, and speaker output connections.
Power Supply Terminals
- GND (Ground): Connect this terminal to a clean, unpainted metal surface of the vehicle chassis. Ensure a strong, low-resistance connection.
- REM (Remote Turn-On): Connect this terminal to the remote turn-on output of your head unit. This wire signals the amplifier to turn on and off with your car's audio system.
- +12V (Power): Connect this terminal directly to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery. An inline fuse holder with an appropriate fuse (not included, but recommended in addition to the amplifier's internal fuses) should be installed within 18 inches of the battery.
Speaker Connections
Connect your speakers to the 'SPEAKER' terminals. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound quality. The VCT2610 supports 2-channel stereo operation or can be bridged for mono output.
RCA Input and Line Output
Connect your head unit's RCA outputs to the 'INPUT' RCA jacks on the amplifier. The 'LINE OUT' RCA jacks provide an unamplified signal for connecting additional amplifiers in a multi-amplifier setup.

Operating Instructions
Once the amplifier is correctly installed and wired, you can adjust its settings for optimal audio performance.
Controls and Indicators
- Low Level Input (RCA): Connect your head unit's RCA pre-outs here.
- Aux Line Outputs (RCA): Provides a full-range signal for daisy-chaining to other amplifiers.
- Input Level Control (GAIN): Adjusts the input sensitivity of the amplifier to match the output level of your head unit. Start with the gain at minimum and slowly increase until desired volume is achieved without distortion.
- Sub Sonic Filter Switch: Engages a filter to remove extremely low frequencies that are inaudible and can waste amplifier power.
- Crossover Mode Selector (HPF/FULL/LPF):
- HPF (High Pass Filter): Allows frequencies above the set crossover point to pass through, typically used for full-range speakers.
- FULL: Bypasses the crossover, allowing all frequencies to pass through.
- LPF (Low Pass Filter): Allows frequencies below the set crossover point to pass through, typically used for subwoofers.
- Crossover Control (FREQ): Adjusts the frequency point for the High Pass or Low Pass filter, depending on the Crossover Mode selected.
- Bass Boost Control: Increases the bass output at a specific frequency. Use sparingly to avoid distortion.
- Power LED (Green): Illuminates when the amplifier is powered on and operating normally.
- Protection LED (Red): Illuminates if the amplifier enters protection mode due to overheating, short circuit, or other fault conditions.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Lanzar VCT2610 amplifier, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Keep Clean: Regularly wipe the amplifier's exterior with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure Ventilation: Periodically check that the amplifier's cooling fins are free from obstructions to allow for proper heat dissipation.
- Check Connections: Occasionally inspect all power, ground, remote, and speaker connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Loose connections can lead to poor performance or damage.
- Fuse Inspection: If the amplifier stops working, check the internal fuses (2x40A maxi type) and any external fuses. Replace blown fuses only with fuses of the same type and rating.
