  3. Connect HDMI Sources: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, cable box) to the HDMI IN 1, HDMI IN 2, HDMI IN 3, or HDMI IN 4 ports on the switch using HDMI cables (not included).
  4. Connect Power: Plug the included power adapter into the DC 5V port on the HDMI switch, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The power indicator light on the switch should illuminate.
  5. Power On: Turn on your television and all connected HDMI source devices. Select the HDMI input on your television that is connected to the HDMI switch.

Operating Instructions

The Rocketfish HDMI switch offers both manual and automatic input switching.

  • Automatic Switching: The switch is designed to automatically detect and switch to the most recently activated HDMI source device. If you turn on a device connected to an input, the switch will automatically select that input.
  • Manual Switching (Front Panel): Press the "SELECT" button on the front panel of the HDMI switch to cycle through the available HDMI input sources (HDMI IN 1, 2, 3, 4). The corresponding LED indicator will light up to show the currently selected input.
  • Manual Switching (Remote Control): Use the included remote control to directly select an HDMI input. Press the corresponding number button (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the remote to switch to that input. Ensure the remote has working batteries and is pointed towards the front of the HDMI switch.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power adapter before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the switch. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, disconnect all cables and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cable Management: Ensure HDMI cables are not excessively bent or strained, as this can affect signal quality.
