2. Safety Information

Important: Always read the entire label before use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Do not ingest. Statements regarding dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. This product is for stain removal on fabrics only.

3. Preparation and Setup

Before applying the stain remover, perform a patch test on an inconspicuous area of the fabric to check for colorfastness and fabric compatibility. Ensure the fabric is dry before application. Protect the work surface underneath the stained area to prevent damage.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for optimal stain removal:

  1. Moisten the Stain: Apply a small amount of the Dr. Beckmann Stain Devil liquid directly onto the stain. Ensure the stain is thoroughly moistened.
  2. Allow to Work: Let the liquid penetrate the stain for approximately 10-15 minutes. For very stubborn or dried-in stains, you may extend the working time, but do not allow the product to dry on the fabric.
  3. Wash Fabric:
    • For Washable Fabrics: After the working time, wash the treated item immediately in your washing machine according to the fabric care label.
    • For Non-Washable Fabrics: After the working time, completely dab off the liquid from the treated area using a clean, damp cloth. Repeat if necessary until the stain and product residue are removed.
  4. Repeat if Necessary: For particularly tough or old stains, a second application may be required. Follow the steps again from the beginning.

5. Maintenance and Storage

Store the Dr. Beckmann Stain Devil bottle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cap is tightly closed after each use to prevent evaporation and maintain product efficacy. Do not freeze. Dispose of empty containers according to local regulations.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Stain Not Completely Removed:

Ensure sufficient product was applied and allowed adequate working time. For older or very stubborn stains, a second application may be necessary. Ensure the fabric is washed or thoroughly dabbed clean after each application.

  • Fabric Discoloration/Damage:

This indicates the product may not be suitable for the specific fabric type or color. Always perform a patch test on an inconspicuous area before full application. If discoloration occurs, rinse immediately with water.

  • Product Residue Remaining:

For washable fabrics, ensure a full wash cycle is completed. For non-washable fabrics, ensure the area is thoroughly dabbed with a clean, damp cloth until all residue is removed.
