4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.

4.2. Placement

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the ON/OFF button. The LCD display will show '0g' or '0lb'.
- To turn off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds, or the scale will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
5.2. Weighing Items
- Ensure the scale is on and displays '0g' or '0lb'.
- Place the item to be weighed directly onto the glass weighing platform.
- The weight will be displayed on the large LCD screen.
5.3. Tare Function (Zeroing)
The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to subtract the weight of a container.
- Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
- Press the TARE button (often labeled 'T' or integrated with the ON/OFF button). The display will reset to '0g'.
- Add the ingredient to the container. The display will show only the weight of the ingredient.
- Repeat the tare process for additional ingredients.
5.4. Unit Conversion
