4. Setup and Filling

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the sprayer for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Unscrew Pump Assembly: Twist the pump handle assembly counter-clockwise to remove it from the main reservoir.
  4. Fill Reservoir: Pour the desired liquid into the reservoir. Do not exceed the 1.5L maximum fill line. Ensure the liquid is compatible with plastic materials and the intended application.
  5. Re-attach Pump Assembly: Carefully place the pump assembly back onto the reservoir and screw it clockwise until securely tightened. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks and allow for proper pressurization.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Pressurize the Sprayer: With the pump assembly securely attached, pump the handle up and down repeatedly until resistance is felt and the sprayer is pressurized. Typically, 10-20 pumps are sufficient, depending on the desired pressure.
  2. Adjust Nozzle: Rotate the nozzle tip (located at the end of the spray wand) to adjust the spray pattern from a fine mist to a direct stream. Test the spray pattern in a safe area before applying.
  3. Apply Liquid: Aim the nozzle at the target area and press the trigger on the handle to release the spray. Release the trigger to stop spraying.
  4. Maintain Pressure: If the spray weakens, pump the handle again to re-pressurize the sprayer.
  5. Depressurize After Use: After each use, it is crucial to release any remaining pressure. This can usually be done by pulling up the pressure release valve (if present, often integrated into the pump handle) or by holding the trigger until all pressure is released. Refer to Figure 3 for typical pressure release mechanism.

6. Maintenance and Storage

  • Clean After Use: After each use, empty any remaining liquid. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water. Pump clean water through the nozzle to flush out any residue.
  • Inspect Seals: Periodically check all seals and O-rings for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain proper pressure.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: If the nozzle becomes clogged, unscrew it and clean any debris with a small brush or by rinsing under strong water pressure.
  • Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure the sprayer is depressurized before storage.

7. Troubleshooting
