5.1 Tools Required (Not Included)

5.2 Attaching TV Brackets to Your TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  3. Select the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. Refer to your TV's manual for recommended screw sizes.
  4. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly (hooks facing downwards) and are securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

5.3 Mounting the Wall Plate to the Wall

  1. Determine Mounting Location: Choose a location on the wall where you want to mount your TV. Consider viewing height and proximity to power outlets.
  2. Locate Studs (for wood stud installation): Use a stud finder to locate the centers of two adjacent wood studs. Mark these locations with a pencil. The wall plate is designed to span two studs.
  3. Position Wall Plate: Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drill holes through the wall plate onto the wall.
  4. Drill Pilot Holes:
    • For Wood Studs: Drill pilot holes into the center of the marked studs using a drill bit slightly smaller than the lag bolts.
    • For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill pilot holes using a masonry drill bit. Insert wall anchors into the drilled holes until flush with the wall surface.
  5. Secure Wall Plate: Align the wall plate with the drilled holes. Insert the lag bolts (for wood studs) or concrete anchors and screws (for concrete/brick) through the wall plate and into the pilot holes. Tighten all bolts securely with a socket wrench. Do not overtighten to avoid stripping.

  2. Gently lower the TV until the brackets are fully seated on the wall plate.
  3. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms at the bottom of the TV brackets. Secure these to prevent the TV from accidentally lifting off the wall plate.
  4. Perform a gentle pull test to ensure the TV is securely mounted.
