Safety Instructions

Operating Instructions
The Eurom EK5001 features two rotary knobs on the control panel: one for power selection and one for thermostat control.
Power Selection Knob:
- Off (0): Turns the heater off.
- Fan Only (Fan Symbol): Activates the fan without heating, providing cold air circulation.
- Low Heat (I): Activates heating at approximately 2500W.
- High Heat (II): Activates heating at the full 5000W output.
Thermostat Control Knob:
This knob allows you to set the desired room temperature. The heater will automatically turn on and off to maintain the set temperature.
- Turn the power selection knob to your desired heat setting (Low Heat or High Heat).
- Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the maximum setting. The heater will begin to operate.
- Once the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the heater turns off.
- The heater will now automatically cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.
Note: The overheating protection feature will automatically shut off the heater if it becomes too hot. If this occurs, unplug the heater, allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes, and remove any obstructions before restarting.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heater.
- Cleaning: Before cleaning, always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Removal: Periodically use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the grilles and internal components. Ensure the heater is unplugged during this process.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the heater in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use the heater and contact qualified service personnel.
