1. Introduction

The DYMO LetraTag 100H is a compact and portable label maker designed for easy organization in home and office environments. 3.1 Battery Installation

The LetraTag 100H requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Turn the label maker over to access the battery compartment on the back.
  2. Press down on the latch and lift the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover, pressing firmly until it clicks into place.

3.2 Tape Cassette Installation

To install a LetraTag tape cassette:

  1. Open the tape compartment cover located on the top front of the label maker.
  2. Insert the tape cassette with the label side facing down, ensuring the tape and ribbon are taut across the print head.
  3. Press the cassette firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the tape compartment cover.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To turn the label maker on, press the red On/Off button. To turn it off, press the On/Off button again. The device also features an auto-off function to conserve battery life when not in use.

4.2 Entering Text

Use the alphabetical keyboard to type your desired text. The 13-character LCD screen will display your input. Press the Shift key to access uppercase letters and symbols.

4.3 Formatting Labels

Once your text is entered and formatted:

  1. Press the Print button located on the top right of the keyboard.
  2. The label will feed out of the label maker.
  3. Use the manual cutter on the left side of the device to cut the label.

To ensure optimal print quality and device longevity, regularly clean the print head and cutter blade:

When a tape cassette is empty or you wish to change label types, follow the tape cassette installation steps (Section 3.2) in reverse to remove the old cassette, and then install a new one.
