Setup and Installation

The MILENCO 2745 Compact Wheel Clamp is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps to secure your vehicle:

1. Prepare the Clamp: Remove the wheel clamp from its carrying bag. Ensure the locking mechanism is disengaged and the clamp arms can move freely.

2. Select Appropriate Adapters (if needed): The clamp comes with various adapters to ensure a snug fit for different wheel nut sizes and types, including those for sophisticated Bailey tires and larger wheel nuts found on Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer/Citroen models from 1994-2006. For models from 2007 onwards, adapters may not be required. Identify the correct adapter for your vehicle's wheel nuts.

3. Position the Clamp: Place the clamp around one of the vehicle's wheels. Ensure the foam backing on the clamp arm is positioned against the alloy rim to prevent scratches. The clamp should cover at least one wheel nut.

4. Adjust and Secure: Use the easy rotating crank handle to adjust the clamp, ensuring it firmly grips the wheel and covers a wheel nut. Push the handle into the main body of the clamp to engage the locking mechanism.

5. Lock the Clamp: Insert the key into the high-security lock and turn it to secure the clamp. Remove the key. The clamp is now fully engaged and providing optimal theft protection.

Operating Instructions

Operating the MILENCO 2745 Compact Wheel Clamp is straightforward.

To Attach the Clamp:

1. Ensure the clamp is unlocked and fully extended.
2. Position the clamp around the wheel, ensuring the protective foam is against the rim.
3. Rotate the crank handle to tighten the clamp securely around the tire and over a wheel nut.
4. Push the crank handle inwards until it clicks, engaging the internal locking mechanism.
5. Insert the key and turn to fully lock the device. Remove the key and store it safely.

To Remove the Clamp:

1. Insert the key into the lock and turn it to unlock the mechanism.
2. Pull the crank handle outwards to disengage the internal locking mechanism.
3. Rotate the crank handle in the opposite direction to loosen the clamp from the wheel.
4. Carefully remove the clamp from the wheel.
5. Fold the clamp for compact storage and place it back into its carrying bag.
