1. Introduction

This user manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your NEC NP215 Mobile Projector. 4.1 Top Panel Controls

5.1 Projector Placement

1. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the AC IN port on the projector and then to a power outlet.
2. Computer Connection: Use a VGA cable to connect your computer's VGA output to the projector's COMPUTER IN port.
3. Video Device Connection: For standard video, connect an RCA cable to the VIDEO IN port. For S-Video, use an S-Video cable with the S-VIDEO IN port. Connect audio cables to the AUDIO IN port if needed.
4. Network Connection: For network control or presentations, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press the POWER button on the top panel or remote control. The POWER indicator will illuminate.
• To Power Off: Press the POWER button again. A confirmation message may appear. Press POWER again to confirm shutdown. The projector will enter a cooling cycle. Do not unplug the projector until the POWER indicator stops blinking.

6.2 Source Selection

Press the SOURCE button on the top panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources (e.g., COMPUTER IN, VIDEO IN, S-VIDEO IN).

6.3 Image Adjustment

• Focus: Rotate the FOCUS ring on the lens until the image is sharp.
• Zoom: Rotate the ZOOM ring on the lens to adjust the image size.
• Auto Adjustment: Press the AUTO ADJ. button to automatically optimize the image settings for the current input source.
• Menu Adjustments: Use the MENU button and directional arrows to access and adjust settings like brightness, contrast, color, aspect ratio, and keystone correction.
