Setup Guide
1. Installing Batteries
The Targus Wireless Numeric Keypad requires two AAA batteries for operation. To install them:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keypad.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Connecting the Nano USB Receiver
The keypad connects wirelessly to your device via a Nano USB receiver. This receiver is designed to be stored within the keypad itself for portability.
- Remove the Nano USB receiver from its storage slot on the underside of the keypad.
- Plug the Nano USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (laptop, desktop, Chromebook, etc.).
- The keypad should automatically connect to your device. No additional drivers are typically required for basic functionality.

3. Operating System Selection
The keypad features a switch on its underside to optimize performance for different operating systems:
- PC/Chromebook Mode: Slide the switch to the "PC" position for use with Windows and Chromebook devices.
- Mac Mode: Slide the switch to the "MAC" position for use with macOS devices.
Ensure the correct mode is selected for optimal key functionality, especially for special keys like "Tab" and "Backspace".
Operating the Keypad

Maintenance
Battery Life Indicator
